The intended change is purposeful and organized and is intended to improve. Unforeseen changes are disturbing, unexpected, and responsive. (Yoder-Wise, 2018) Lewin (1947) became one of the first theoreticians and academics to learn about the planned change process. (Yoder-Wise, 2018) He argued that a 3-stage transition entails starting by enabling an individual, group, or organization to release the present habit or process, move towards the new intended reality and then maintain this new position. (Yoder-Wise, 2018) These three procedures unlocking, transferring and refrigeration can be used to assess nearly any change. The final phase is for nursing as nursing managers need to develop procedures to ensure that changed behaviors or processes continue, measure the impact of the changes, and produce progress reports and proof of success. (Yoder-Wise, 2018) During this time, every infant should follow behavior, as it can be done without diligence and commitment to the Change Initiative without retreating to routines and more comfortable performance patterns.
